Marian Rivera

Si Marian Rivera-Dantes (ipinanganak bilang Marián Gracia Rivera noong Agosto 12,[2] 1984 [3][4] sa Madrid, Espanya) ay isang Pilipinang modelo at aktres, na nakilala sa pagganap niya sa mga seryeng pantelebisyon na Marimar, Dyesebel, Darna, at Amaya.[5] Bilang isang mang-aawit, inilabas ni Rivera ang kanyang dalawang studio album: ang platinum hits na Marian Rivera Dance Hits[6] at Retro Crazy.[7][8] Gumanap din siya sa ilang mga pelikulang pumalo sa takilya gaya ng: My Bestfriend's Girlfriend, Tarot,[9] You to Me Are Everything,[10] at Panday 2.[11] Samantalang ng taong 2014 naman nang ipamalas ni Marian ang kanyang taal na talento sa pagsayaw sa pamamagitan ng Marian , isang dance program tuwing Sabado.

Noong 2009, naabot ni Rivera ang ika-5 puwesto sa "2009 Top Celebrity Endorsers" ng Manila Standard,[12] ika-3 puwesto sa "Top 10 Most In-demand Celebrity Endorsers in 2010[13] at napasama din sa Top 20 Endorsers ng 2011.[14] Samantala, hinirang naman siyang Sexiest Woman ng FHM noong 2008, at muling naging Sexiest Woman ng FHM nang magkasunod na taon mula 2010 hanggang 2014.[1]

2013 naman nang umalagwa ang kanyang career na umabot pa sa karatig bansa at ang kanyang kauna-unahang International Nomination mula sa prestihiyosong Asian TV Awards para sa pagganap niya sa matagumpay na teleseryeng Temptation of Wife[15].

Dahil sa malaking naiambag niya sa Industriya at maging sa home network, si Marian ay binansagan ng GMA bilang kanilang Primetime Queen.

Biograpiya baguhin

Ipinanganak si Rivera sa Madrid, Espanya. Ang kanyang mga magulang ay sina Fransisco Javier Gracia Alonso, isang Kastila, at Amalia Rivera, isang Pilipina mula sa Kabite.[16] Matapos maghiwalay ang kanyang mga magulang—dalawang taon pagkatapos siyang isilang, iniuwi siya ng kanyang ina sa Pilipinas kung saan siya lumaki. Subalit, ang kanyang ina ay kailangang umalis upang ipagpatuloy ang paghahanapbuhay sa ibang bansa—naiwan si Marian sa kanyang lolang si Francisca Rivera sa bayan ng Bacoor, Cavite. Nag-aral ng Elementarya at Sekondarya si Rivera sa Saint Francis of Assisi College System. Samantalang tinapos naman niya ang kolehiyo sa De La Salle University Dasmariñas sa ilalim ng programang Batsilyer sa Sining sa Sikolohiya.

Nagsimula siya bilang isang Model sa mga patalastas (commercial). Pagkatapos niyang pumirma sa TAPE Inc., nagsimula na siyang umarte at nakasama siya sa tatlong palabas tuwing hapon sa GMA Network: Kung Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako, Agawin Mo Man Ang Lahat, at Pinakamamahal, kung saan nakatambal niya si Oyo Boy Sotto, anak nina Dina Bonnevie at Vic Sotto. Ang pinakamalaking ginampanan niya ay nang mapunta sa kanya ang MariMar, ang remake na ginampanan noon ni Thalía. Ang GMA Network Executives ay tinawag siyang Then Next Big Star (Ang Susunod na Malaking Bituin).
