Kapuluang Falkland: Pagkakaiba sa mga binago

Ang '''Kapuluang Falkland''' o '''Kapuluang Malvinas''' ay isang pangkat ng mga pulo na nasa loob ng karagatan ng Timog Atlantiko, papalayo sa dalampasigan ng [[Timog Amerika]]. Ang mga ito ay isang [[Mga teritoryo sa ibayong dagat ng Britanya|teritoryong nasa ibayong dagat]] ng [[Nagkakaisang Kaharian]], subalit inaangkin ang mga ito ng [[Arhentina]] magmula pa noong 1833. Isang digmaang nakikilala bilang Digmaang Falklands ang pinag-awayan hinggil sa pagmamay-ari ng mga ito noong kapanahunan ni [[Margaret Thatcher]] bilang Punong Ministro ng Britanya. Maraming mga pulo sa loob ng pangkat subalit ang dalawang pinaka malalaki ay ang Silangang Falkland at ang Kanlurang Falkland. Tinatayang 3,000 katao ang naninirahan sa mga ito. The Falkland Islands are about 300 miles (480 km) east of [[Argentina]]. Argentina and the UK had a short war in 1982 because Argentina claims to own the islands. The war lasted 6 weeks and about 1,000 soldiers were killed. The UK defeated Argentina and after this the governments of the two countries would not negotiate (talk) with each other. In 1990 they began to have talks again, but Argentina later refused to continue talks. Oil and gas has been found below the sea around the islands. Argentina and the UK have agreed to share the oil and gas. There is also oil and gas outside the sea area that belongs to the UK. This is owned by Argentina.
