Noong nakaraang lingo, Nobyembre 18-20 nang kasalukuyang taon ay idinaos ang Asia Pacific Economic Conference 2015 o kilala bilang APEC. Ngayong taon, idinaos ito sa Pilipinas partikular sa lunsod ng Maynila. Ito ay dinaluhan ng mga iba’t ibang lider ng bansa tulad nila Pangulong Obama ng United States of America, Pangulong Hu Jin Tao ng Republic of China at ng iba pang karatig bansa sa Pasipiko. Libo-libo ang naapektuhan, simula sa pagkansela ng mga byahe sa paliparan hanggang sa pagkastranded sa kalsada. Maraming negosyo ang pansamantalang nagsara dahil halos buong major na kalsada ay isiniara tulad ng EDSA at Roxas Boulevard. Bakit sa dinadami ng Bansa sa Asya Pasipiko bakit sa Pilipinas idinaos itong kalaking pagtitipon? Anu-ano ba ang maidudulot nito sa bansa? Perwisyo ba o kaginhawaan? Nagtrending pa nga ito social media na #APECtado. Sa anong paraan tayo naging APECtado? Marami ang hindi nakapasok sa trabahao dahil hindi naman idineklara ang buong lingo na wlang pasok. Marami ang naglakad upang makauwi lamang sa kanilang bahay at ang iba naman ay naghintay ng 5 o hanggang 10 oras makapunta lamang sa kanilang pupuntahan. Ano ba talaga ang layunin ng APEC at bakit ganun na lang ang kagustuhan ng Pangulo na idaos ang APEC dito sa Pilipinas. Ang APEC ay isang pagpupulong na nakatuon sa pagpapalago ng ekonomiya ng mga bansa sa Asya pagpapalakas ng ugnayan ng mga bansa upang isulong ang kabutihan ng nakakarami. Ngayong taon ang sentro ng pagpupulong ay ang pagkilala sa mga maliliit na negosyo o tinatawag na micro business. Tinalakay ang papel nito sa ekonomiya at kung paano palalakasin ang mga ganitong negosyo. Kasabay nito isinulong ng Pangulo ang kanyang Adyenda sa iba’t ibang bansa upang mapalakas ang ekonomiya at komersyo ng bansa. Ilang kasunduan ang nilagdaan sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at lider ng ibang bansa. Ayon sa datos kung susumahin ang nawalang kita sa bansa ay humigit kumulang 18 bilyong piso bukod pa ito sa gastos sa operasyon ng APEC summit. Nguni tang naibigay naman nito ay pangmahabang panahon na biyaya sa ating bansa.

Several performance improvements were made, especially to the system around re-using references and reference lists. Weekly updates are posted [[mw:VisualEditor/status|on Mediawiki.org]].

Having all the feedback on a single, centralized place mainly means getting faster, more frequent replies and more attention from a higher number of people, including the people who are building the software. It also means chances are high, that editors will find that someone else has already written there about the issues or requests they wanted to post.
 
Maintaining a local page instead can be cumbersome: it needs to be checked frequently in case someone reports urgent issues. Old threads need to be archived from time to time. Off-topic comments should be removed to keep readability. Feedback left there is sometimes not easily understandable or actionable at all.
 
We think this will help us in being more effective while processing feedback from a larger pool of wikis, not just the biggest ones.
