Ernest George Mardon

Si Ernest George Mardon (1928 - 6 Marso 2016) ay isang propesor sa Ingles na nagtrabaho sa Unibersidad ng Lethbridge. [1] [2] Mayroon siyang maraming libro sa kasaysayan ng Alberta, Canada. [2]

Ipinanganak siya sa Houston, Texas noong 1928 kina Propesor Austin Mardon at Marie Dickey. Nag-aral si Dr. Ernest G. Mardon sa Gordonstoun, Scotland, bago pumasok sa Trinity College sa Dublin . Pagkatapos natanggap siya sa serbisyo militar sa Korean War bilang isang opisyal kasama sa Gordon Highlanders, [3] na naglilingkod kasama ang sangkap na iyon sa Suez Canal Zone, Cyprus, at Libya, mula sa 1952 hanggang 1954. [4] Siya ay marangal na pinalayas sa lieutenant na rank. [4] Lumipat siya sa Canada noong 1954 bilang Bureau Manager para sa United Press International .
