Arellano]], isang arkitektong Pilipino, at isinagawa noong [[1935]]. Noong panahon ng [[Labanan sa Maynila (1945)|Pagpapalaya ng Maynila]] noong [[1945]] sa pagitan ng mga sundalong Pilipino at Amerikano noong [[Ikalawang Digmaang Pandaigdig]], ang tanghalang ito ay buong nawasak. Muli itong itinayo ng mga Amerikano hanggang ito ay unti-unting 'di na ginagamit sa dekada '60, pero binalikan ito sa dating kalagayan nito noong dekada '70 hanggang ito muli ay 'di na ginagamit.
