Usapan:Latin

Latest comment: 3 year ago by Tagasalinero

@Tagasalinero: Hey I've been sorting out links and categories here on the Tagalog Wiki. For some reason people do not make sure they link to the right pages, or link at all, when they create an article here. The result is a complete mess... Could you make a disambiguation page out of this page? Latin can be both a script or a language, could also refer to the Latin rite or Latin America. I won't try writing anything with the Tagalog I know since I am not a native speaker. Thanks in advance. --Glennznl (makipag-usap) 10:05, 25 Oktubre 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sure! I'll let you know once the disambiguation page is up. --Tagasalinero (makipag-usap) 10:25, 25 Oktubre 2020 (UTC)Reply
Hi again @Glennznl:, I made a preliminary translation here. Let me know if I can help with anything else. --Tagasalinero (makipag-usap) 18:41, 25 Oktubre 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Tagasalinero: Excellent, it looks great! "Alpabetong Latin" and "Sulat Latin" link to the same page right now. On the English/other wikis, the first one describes the "Classical Latin alphabet" as used by the Romans (they did not have a K, W, J) while the other is the modern Latin script. I wonder if we should switch the names by renaming the current Alpabetong Latin to Sulat Latin, and add "classical" to Alpabetong Latin.
The current Alpabetong Latin article is very short by the way, it consists of only a table, without any text at all. Maybe you can put that one on your to-do list? ;) --Glennznl (makipag-usap) 18:58, 25 Oktubre 2020 (UTC)Reply
Okay thanks, @Glennznl:. I'll put this on my to-do list. --Tagasalinero (makipag-usap) 09:40, 26 Oktubre 2020 (UTC)Reply
Return to "Latin" page.
