Tom: All those “questionable” terms you brought up are valid, and kombersasyon and signal in particular are widely used. I do however believe that device in italics should be used instead of divays, as device could be pronounced in many different ways. —Život 11:10, 4 October 2005 (UTC)

hattinig as article name baguhin

mas maganda siguro kung gawing pangalan ng artikulong ito ang hattinig (hatinig) at gawing redirect lamang ang telepono.

While it would be okay in a majority of cases to prefer native terms over Spanish-derived ones (pamahalaan instead of gobyerno; lungsod over syudad), I am afraid that the same would not apply to hattinig, a coined word that never really caught on (and in fact, has all but been forgotten, along with many other coined terms). Compare with the introduction of kalayaan, among others, during the late 19th century as a replacement for libertad. —Život 9:19 p.m., October 20, 2005 (UTC)
