Walter Persegati
Si Walter Persegati ay ang dating kalihim at ingat-yaman ng mga Bantayog ng Batikano (o mga Moog o Monumento ng Batikano), mga Museo, at mga Tanghalan (o Galeriya). Siya ang namahala at namuno, kasama ng direktor-panglahat na si Carlo Pietrangeli, sa pagpapalinis at restorasyon (pagbabalik sa dating kasiglahan at kaanyuan) ng mga mural ni Michelangelo sa Kapilyang Sistino ng Batikano.[1][2][3][4][5]
Isa siyang lalaking may uban o kulay abuhing buhok na nagsusuot ng makapal na mga salaming pangmata. Nagsimula siyang manungkulan bilang kalihim-panglahat ng Mga Museo at Tanghalan ng Sining ng Batikano noong 1971. Siya ang nakipagkasundo sa Nippon Television Network Corporation ng bansang Hapon, sa halagang $3 milyon, upang linis ang mga dingding at kisame ng kapilya, bilang kapalit ng eksklusibong mga karapatan sa paggawa ng pelikula sa proyektong tumagal ng labindalawang mga taon. Sa panahong iyon, tinaya ni Persegating mabubuo ang restorasyon sa taong 1992.[6]
