Austen Henry Layard
Si Sir Austen Henry Layard GCB PC ( /ˈɔːstɪn ˈhɛnriː ˈlɛərd/; 5 Marso 1817 – 5 Hulyo 1894) ay isang Ingles na manlalakbay, arkeologo, dalubhasa sa kuniporme, mananalaysay sa sining, dibuhante, kolektor, politiko at diplomatiko. Mas-kilala siya bilang manghuhukay ng Nimrud at Niniveh, kung saang natagpuan niya ang isang malaking proporsiyon ng kilalang Assyrian palace relief, at noong 1851 ang aklatan ni Ashurbanipal.
