Hugo Chávez

Si Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías (bigkas [ˈuɰo rafaˈel ˈtʃaβ̞es ˈfɾias]) (28 Hulyo 1954 – 5 Marso 2013[1]) ay isang dating Pangulo ng Venezuela. Bilang pinuno ng Rebolusyong Bolibaryano, itinataguyod ni Chávez ang pampolitika na doktrinang demokratikong sosyalismo at integrasyong Latino Amerikano.[2] Tagapagpuna rin siya ng neoliberalismo, globalisasyon at ang patakarang panlabas ng bansa ng Estados Unidos.[3]
