Lalawigan ng Bueng Kan

Heograpiya

Ang lalawigan ay nasa hilagang-silangang sulok ng Taylandiy. Ito ay may hangganan, mula sa timog paikot, Nakhon Phanom, Sakon Nakhon, at lalawigan ng Nong Khai. Sa hilaga at silangan ito ay nasa hangganan ng lalawigan ng Bolikhamsai ng Laos, kung saan ang Ilog Mekong ang bumubuo sa hangganan.

Sa distrito ng Bung Khla ay ang Santuwaryong Ilahas ng Phu Wua, na nagpoprotekta sa mga burol na sakop ng kagubatan malapit sa Ilog Mekong. Ang kabuuang lugar ng kagubatan ay 280 square kilometre (110 mi kuw) o 7 porsiyento ng sakop ng lalawigan.
